The First to Reach
the Pinnacle

Every great tradition has a beginning. Every trophy has a first name. And every Green Jacket has a story.

“Champ”

Established in 2025, The Pinnacle Invitational made its competitive debut in 2026, when six players came together for three days of golf across South Australia's Fleurieu Peninsula.

From Links Lady Bay to Wirrina Cove and the final day at Mount Compass, six competitors pursued the same prize. But only one could become the first to reach the Pinnacle.

On Sunday 1 February 2026, Simon Nedelkovski became the tournament's first champion.

The first recipient of the Pinnacle Green Jacket. The first to lift the trophy. The first name in the tournament's history. And, fittingly, the man now known as Champ.

2026 · The Inaugural Winners

Before the first Green Jacket was awarded, another battle had already been won.

On Day One of the inaugural Pinnacle Invitational at Links Lady Bay, Adam Watts and Kain Charlesworth emerged victorious, earning the coveted privilege of first choice of beds for the tournament. Adam held the higher ranking and received first choice, followed by Kain.

“Some victories earn trophies. Others earn the best night's sleep.”

In 2027, the tradition continues with a new challenge: closest to the pin on Hole 13 at McCracken Golf Course. Eight players will battle for the right to choose their sleeping quarters.
